In the Tortona neighborhood, once Milan’s industrial hub, and the heart of fashion and design today, lies an industrial building dating to the early part of 20 century.

The seat of Barattini & C, where the company galvanized metals and plastics from 1923 until the mid-80s, has been transformed into an ideal stage for art exhibits, product design display & fashion shows. The halls of the former industrial complex, which surround a vast courtyard, include a cast-iron columned room, the chemistry labs, and an ex warehouse transformed rehearsal studio for the prima ballerina Alessandra Ferri, who danced with the Royal Ballet, the American Ballet Theater and La Scala from 1980 through retirement in 2007.
