Design Week Milano

April 12, 2016 in International, Italia

La Marzocco is happy to take part in the Design Week Milano (April 12-17) with its handmade espresso machines – from both the commerical and home line – to offer visitors, in different event locations, a distinctive coffee experience. An Italian design icon in the global coffee community, La Marzocco is participating again this year in various exhibition spaces of the Design Week (Fuorisalone), sharing its story and technological evolution.

As the ritual of coffee is opening to new environments, the design and technologies of the Florentine company continue to evolve and innovate into new products and projects to offer a quality coffee in any context (even outside the traditional coffee shop)…

Garage Shaker Artist @Ventura Lambrate (Via Conte Rosso, 17) – Innovative “garage style” venue for professionals and lovers of alternative design, fashion, art and street food… Where the public can enjoy a good coffee prepared on a Linea Classic.

Spazio Pelota (via Palermo 10) – Legendary place in the Brera district that has become a multifacetted and cutting-edge spot. It’s no coincidence that it will be hosting the “Austrian Design Pioneers” exposé as well as the Strada EP and Linea Classic machines at the café corner.

7 Grams (via Valparaiso 9) – A “Coffee studio” located in the vibrant Tortona Design District that’s entirely dedicated to espresso lovers… presenting a wide range of quality equipment, including the GB5 machine.

XXI Triennale Milano (Viale Alemagna 6) – La Marzocco, in collaboration with Illy, is joining the historic cultural-artistic Milanese institution with a GS3 to serve coffee blends on a professional-grade machine. This will be presented at stand #18, in the company of Michelin-class chef Matteo Marinelli and interior design brands such as Febal, Colombini Group, Rossana Cucine and Aran World. The coffee space is co-organized by local roaster Cafe Milano and by Restaurant Constantine from Monaco.

50+! Il grande gioco dell’industria (via Solferino 17) – Thsi week, the headquarter of the Architects’ council will be open to the public, 9am-8pm, for the itinerary exhibition of Museimpresa, devoted to objects that narrate the story of “made in Italy” and which have changed the rituals, history, economy and lifestyle of the Italian society. La Marzocco is represented here with the historical image “Romeo 2”, an Alfa Romeo model dating back to 1959 when the company founder, Giuseppe Bambi, decided to purchase it for marketing activities, customizing it with an original design…
