On & off-track Formula E, Paris 2017

May 21, 2017 in International

Scarperia, May 22nd, 2017 – La Marzocco, the leader in espresso machine innovation and design, supported the most recent Formula E – the electric street racing series – in the French capital for the second ePrix, on a temporary track designed and built around the architectural complex of Les Invalides. In fact, La Marzocco and Formula E made their return to the streets of Paris, both involved in environmental protection and in sustainable development initiatives.

For the third year in a row, La Marzocco joined the series as the official espresso machine supplier for the FIA Formula E Championship, sharing the same values of sustainability, high-end technology, community and engagement.

During the entire race program, three premium cafés centered around the Linea PB and the Linea Mini operated within three premium hospitality experience areas, the EMOTION Clubs, near the Musée Rodin. A professional team of baristas, led by the French itinerant pop-up café brand, La Claque, introduced a variety of quality coffee beverages, with beans roasted by two young specialty Parisian roasters: La Fabrique du Café and La Compagnie du Café.

Off-track, the eVillage entertained fans with activities tailored for adults and children and – in collaboration with La Marzocco – served specialty coffee on the Linea PB espresso machines. Specialized staff from local roastery institutions, such as Café Coutume and Esperanza Café, prepared some of the finest coffee-based drinks for the event attendees.
