The 14th African Fine Coffee Conference exhibition (February 3-5) saw the participation of La Marzocco as official espresso machine sponsor for the event and the Songwa Estates partners as the sponsors for “ABC 2016”, the African Barista Championship. The iconic Linea Classic models were provided on this occasion, where the best champions in the continent gathered to compete against one another while sharing experiences and skills. 

AFCA this year took place at Dar es Salam in Tanzania (a one-hour flight from the Songwa coffee plantation) gathering people from the local and international coffee industry to exchange ideas and actions focused on the 2016 conference theme: Research & Innovation.
