Check out the latest highlights from the “Espresoul Creative Coffee” preliminary competitions launched by our partners in Shanghai (at Mellower Coffee, 23rd September), Nanjing (at Fishtank Cafe, September 30th) and Hangzhou (at Random, October 7th) with the Strada AV showcase. The event took place in collaboration with a.o.i studio (events agency), Fisher Coffee (coffee bean sponser), BlackWaterIssue (media partner), inviting professional baristas – interested in participating in the World Coffee in Good Spirit Championship – as well as local café owners, coffee lovers from the region and so on. The judges were a selected group of industry professionals: Jeremy Zhang (founder of M2M COFFEE, 2014 Chinese Barista Championship) , King Chan (Mellower Coffee, championship trainer), Zhian Ouyang (MONIN China, mixologist, author of The Art of the Cocktail). Each of the preliminary competition involved 12 baristas – and the top 4 from each preliminary competition had the opportunity to join the final challenge on October 15th, 2016 at UNDEFINE, Shanghai.
