The events included our very own Mike Khan and Giulia Spanio who shared insights into the specialty coffee industry, La Marzocco legacy and the new partnership with Kaapi Machines.

While some say India runs on chai, with Gen Z, the millennials who grew up with Café Coffee Day, with their rising income and more international exposure, they seem to have an evolved taste for a good coffee. Kaapi is here to cater to specialty coffee lovers who want a good cup of joe at work, at a café or at home.

The events took place on February 19th in Kormangala Social, Bengaluru and February 21st in Doolally Taproom, Khar West Mumbai. Having around 35-40 coffee community members each, which included coffee roasters, baristas, coffee growers, coffee trainers, café owners, homebrewers, café consultants and people who just love coffee.

Participating roasters included Blue Tokai, Third Wave Coffee Roasters, Dope Coffee, and Beanrove.  The public included growers from Kalledevarapura Estate Coffe, Balanoor Estate, and Black Baza.
