Scarperia, Florence | July 8, 2019 – The London Coffee Festival proved that the specialty coffee movement is developing and growing stronger and stronger. La Marzocco has been involved with the London Coffee Festival since its inception and the 2019 edition was yet another invigorating event.
La Marzocco is thrilled to announce the winners of London Coffee Festival 2019 awarda, as voted for by event visitors and the industry.
First, the Most Innovative Product (industry vote) was won by KB90: the newest addition to La Marzocco espresso machines, featuring game-changing technology like the Straight-In Portafilter System. The Roaster Village also won Favourite Key Feature at this year’s festival.
The Florentine company is thrilled to be able to announce winners from its signature fortmat True Artisan Cafe, as voted for by visitors. The True Artisan Cafe is the ultimate showcase of the partnerships within La Marzocco’s roaster network, within the UK & Ireland and beyond, to present the very best of what its partners have to offer in both espresso extraction and signature drink creation.
Leto (Union) won Best Signature Drink.
Le Café Alain Ducasse won best espresso. Alain Ducasse’s new venture into coffee was executed earlier this year with two locations in Paris and London, both holding bespoke La Marzocco espresso machines.
Five Elephants took the award for most money raised for Project Waterfall Charity. The Best social and online promotion went to Familia Osorio Coffee.
Lastly, the True Artisan Café – ‘Visitors Favourite’ was won by Grind.
