Yet another Regional AeroPress competition was held on Saturday, April 29, at the Wer-Haus – located in Carrer d’Aragó 287, in Barcelona. This coffee brewing challenge is part of a format that is being organized all over the country, coordinated by last year’s national Spanish WAC champion, Carlos Zavala.

La Marzocco Spain contributed to serve non caffeinated drinks to all attendees in the company of a beer-brewing GS3, customized by designer Gianluca Buonafina with recycled skateboard material!

Elisabet Sereno, proudly took part in the event as part of the judge panel that classified the competitors as follows:

·         1st Place: Brodie Vissers – barista at Black Remedy

·         2nd Place: Álvaro Guillén – home barista

·         3rd Place: Lera Bobrova – barista at Bermont Coffee& Coffee blogger at liquidclub.es

Also classified: Ivette Vera– barista at Skye Coffee; Nito – Barista at Orbea Campus; Naber – home barista
